Private Photos Of Robert visiting Doctor To Have His Leg Reset 1963
Robert has recounted many times about the time he broke his ankle and leg while filming a stunt fight in Wagon Train. He has always admitted the accident was his own fault as he failed to use a “breakaway” chair in the scene and instead used a regular chair which did not give way when he came down on it. It was said that when his leg broke it sounded like a gun going off. What is not so well known is that after his leg was first set the cast was too tight and on the very first day of wearing it, caused extreme pain. This story is coming in Robert’s own words soon!! However for now Robert’s Virtual Museum can share with you photos taken at the doctor’s office when his cast was being reset.
