Part of Robert’s charm as an actor has undobtedly been his unique voice which is
powerful, individual and clear. So it really should not have come as a surprise to
him when he was approached to make a single.
Robert alway has been modest, even to the point of self depracating about his
singing skills. He is quoted as saying he could not carry a tune in a bucket.
However time would prove that he is a very competent vocalist, and he would be
called upon to use his unique voice with a mixture of singing and speaking on 5
singles and one album.
